This Privacy Policy explains how the Tokyo Marina mobile app ("the App", "we") handles your information. By using the App you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
Account information
- Your e-mail address (used to identify your account and prevent duplicate accounts).
- Your password, stored only as a salted one-way hash — we never store it in plain text.
- An optional display name.
Device information
- A one-way hash of your device identifier (on iOS the vendor identifier, on Android the Android ID). We use it only to prevent abuse of the one free practice test. We do not collect advertising identifiers (IDFA / Advertising ID) and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
Usage information
- Your practice-test attempts, answers, scores and language preference, so the App can show your history and results.
Purchase information
- When you buy "full access", Apple or Google provide a purchase receipt / transaction identifier that our server verifies to unlock your purchase. We do not receive or store your payment-card details — payment is handled entirely by the App Store / Google Play.
Technical information
- Standard server logs (IP address, request time) kept for security and reliability.
2. How we use your information
- To provide the exam-practice service and save your results.
- To keep accounts unique and prevent abuse of the free test.
- To verify and restore your purchase.
- To maintain the security and reliability of the service.
3. Sharing
We do not sell your personal data and we do not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs. We share purchase tokens with Apple and Google solely to verify your purchase. Data is stored on our own server.
4. Retention and deletion
We keep your data until you delete your account. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time in the App: Settings → Delete account. You may also email us to request deletion. Deletion is immediate and irreversible. See our Account Deletion page.
5. Children
The App is intended for individuals preparing for the JMRA small-boat operator's licence examination and is not directed to children.
6. Security
Passwords are hashed; all traffic between the App and our server is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS.
7. Your rights
You can access or delete your data at any time from within the App, or by contacting us.
8. Independence
Tokyo Marina is an independent study aid and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Japan Marine Recreation Association (JMRA) or any government body.

本プライバシーポリシーは、モバイルアプリ「Tokyo Marina」（以下「本アプリ」）がお客様の情報をどのように取り扱うかを説明するものです。本アプリをご利用いただくことで、本ポリシーに同意したものとみなされます。
1. 取得する情報
アカウント情報
- メールアドレス（アカウントの識別および重複登録の防止に使用します）。
- パスワード（ソルト付きの一方向ハッシュとしてのみ保存し、平文では保存しません）。
- 表示名（任意）。
端末情報
- 端末識別子の一方向ハッシュ（iOSではベンダー識別子、AndroidではAndroid ID）。無料受験の不正利用を防ぐ目的にのみ使用します。広告識別子（IDFA／広告ID）は取得せず、他のアプリやウェブサイトをまたいで追跡することもありません。
利用情報
- 受験履歴・解答・得点・言語設定（履歴や結果を表示するために使用します）。
購入情報
- 「フルアクセス」購入時、AppleまたはGoogleから提供されるレシート／取引IDをサーバーで検証し、購入を有効化します。クレジットカード情報は一切受け取らず・保存しません。決済はApp Store／Google Playが行います。
技術情報
- セキュリティと安定運用のための標準的なサーバーログ（IPアドレス、アクセス日時）。
2. 利用目的
- 試験練習サービスの提供および結果の保存。
- アカウントの一意性確保と無料受験の不正防止。
- 購入の検証および復元。
- サービスの安全性・信頼性の維持。
3. 第三者提供
お客様の個人データを販売することはありません。第三者の広告・解析SDKも使用しません。購入の検証のためにのみ、購入トークンをAppleおよびGoogleと共有します。データは当社のサーバーに保存されます。
4. 保存期間と削除
データはアカウント削除まで保存されます。アプリ内の「設定 →アカウントを削除」からいつでもアカウントと関連データを削除できます。メールでの削除依頼も可能です。削除は即時かつ取り消しできません。アカウント削除についてもご覧ください。
5. お子様について
本アプリはJMRA小型船舶操縦士試験の受験準備を目的としており、お子様を対象としていません。
6. セキュリティ
パスワードはハッシュ化し、本アプリとサーバー間の通信はすべてHTTPS/TLSで暗号化しています。
7. お客様の権利
アプリ内またはお問い合わせにより、いつでもデータの確認・削除が可能です。
8. 独立性
Tokyo Marinaは独立した学習補助アプリであり、日本海洋レジャー安全・振興協会（JMRA）その他の団体・行政機関とは提携・推奨・後援の関係にありません。
